His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Marshood Al-Rohily, Director General of the National Center for Research and Development of Sustainable Agriculture (Estidamah), participated in the Saudi Food Futures Forum, highlighting the Center's initiatives aimed at enhancing agricultural sustainability and strengthening food security across the Kingdom.
His Excellency noted the significance of advancing the research and development ecosystem in agriculture and food, and of leveraging modern technologies to enhance production efficiency and improve crop quality in line with food security requirements.
Furthermore, His Excellency showcased the key agricultural innovations and advanced technologies developed by the Center within its laboratories and research programs, which contribute to advancing the food and agriculture sector and promoting environmental sustainability. He also highlighted the Center's role in supporting the transfer and localization of modern agricultural technologies and in building national capacities through training and applied programs.
He emphasized the significance of research partnerships and integration with local and international entities to realize the objectives of sustainable agricultural development. He pointed out that the Center's programs and projects aim to support Vision 2030 objectives and to elevate the Kingdom's position as a leader in agricultural innovation and natural resource sustainability.
