The National Center
for Sustainable Agriculture Research and Development “Estidamah,” in
collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture
represented by the General Directorate of Agricultural Guidance, organized a
field day in Al-Jouf titled: “Seasonal Fodder to Improve Productivity and
Enhance Harvesting and Silage Practices.”
The field day aimed to improve the efficiency of seasonal fodder production and
promote the adoption of agricultural practices related to harvesting and silage
processes, contributing to improved fodder quality, reduced waste, and better
use of agricultural resources.
The program included scientific and practical presentations covering key
technical practices for cultivating seasonal fodder and improving productivity,
along with showcasing relevant field applications.
This field day is part of the center’s Fodder Localization Project, which aims
to develop local fodder production, improve supply chain efficiency, and enable
farmers to adopt modern agricultural practices, thereby enhancing the
sustainability of agricultural production.
