Najran branch of the National Research and Development Center for Sustainable Agriculture (Estidamah) organized a workshop titled “Agricultural Practices for Citrus Trees," with the participation of a number of specialists, farmers, and stakeholders in the agricultural sector in the Najran region.
The workshop opened with a welcoming speech highlighting Estidamah's role in supporting agricultural research and developing effective farming practices. It then addressed best practices in citrus production, integrated pest and disease management methods, and ways to improve fertilization and irrigation efficiency.
The speakers also reviewed local and international experiences in enhancing production quality and reducing losses, emphasizing the importance of modern technologies and their role in strengthening the sustainability of the agricultural sector in the Kingdom.
This workshop comes as part of the initiative to promote sustainable agricultural practices, contributing to increased production efficiency and the achievement of agricultural sustainability across various regions of the Kingdom.
