Estidamah - the region’s leader in sustainable agricultural research and technologies - has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Agricultural Development Fund (ADF) on sustainable agricultural development and to explore the potentials of joint collaborations.
Under this MoU, both Estidamah and ADF will collaborate on applied research and studies, follow-up, transfer, and adaptation of the latest global agricultural technologies, in addition to sharing expertise and capitalizing on their agreements and partnerships with regional and international organizations.
Estidamah will join hands with ADF to introduce new ideas and practices to secure sustainable agriculture, boost productivity, enhance water use efficiency and reduce the use of fertilizers and pesticides in greenhouses, in addition to building a cutting-edge database to make all published research, studies, and workshops on sustainable agricultural applications available.
As per the MoU, both parties will share technical and economic consultations, conduct applied studies and training on agriculture to enhance the know-how in research, data analysis and statistical programs. On the other hand, Estidamah will organize specialized training courses for agencies seeking fund for their agricultural projects using the latest technologies in the field as a mandatory requirement to approve funding. Also, Estidamah will conduct feasibility studies, choose the required technologies, then technically and financially assess their viability before funding approval.
