Estidamah has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NEOM Company to explore the horizons of collaboration on agricultural sustainability, water use efficiency, sustainable agriculture applications and other areas of mutual interest to both parties.
Under this MoU, both Estidamah and NEOM will promote and develop sustainable agriculture and protected cultivation industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
NEOM will have access to Estidamah’s know-how, ongoing research projects, outcomes, network of farmers, industry leads, government entities, universities and investors in the field. In addition to organizing joint conferences, workshops, symposia and meetings on topics and themes of common interest.
Furthermore, Estidamah provides NEOM with onsite and/or remote technical support on engineering and project management, training on crop management.
On the other hand, as per this MoU, Estidamah will have access to NEOM’s international network in the agri-food space, while sharing agendas, knowledge, ideas, and getting engaged in cooperative educational and research activities of mutual benefit for both parties, as well as utilizing and leveraging existing resources, expertise and facilities to maximize the development impact through joint partnerships.
This MoU was signed by Estidamah Executive General Manager Dr. Khalid Al Assaf and NEOM CEO Nadhmi Nasr.
