Dr. Khalid bin Marshood Al-Rahili, Director General of Estidamah, joined an official delegation of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture on a visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands to address ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchange expertise in the fields of sustainable agriculture and modern agricultural technologies.
The visit was chaired by His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng.Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti, and covered several meetings with research institutions and companies specialized in agricultural technology and innovation, along with field visits to production facilities and technology development centers.
Estidamah participation comes as part of the Center efforts to build strategic partnerships with leading international entities and support the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia efforts to transfer and localize advanced agricultural technologies, contributing to enhancing food security and achieving environmental sustainability goals.
Dr. Al-Rahili emphasized that this visit represents a significant opportunity to expand the scope of international cooperation, learn about successful experiences in developing sustainable agriculture, and explore opportunities for knowledge exchange and research integration between between Estidamah and its counterparts in developed countries.
