The National Research and Development Center for Sustainable Agriculture (Estidamah), in cooperation with NEOM Food Company Topian, has announced the launch of the second edition of “The Greenhouse Management Training Program", to be held from August 24 to 28 at its headquarters in Riyadh. The program is designed to enhance the efficiency of national cadres and qualify agricultural practitioners in the management and operation of climate-controlled greenhouses, thereby promoting sustainable agricultural practices and the application of latest agricultural technologies.
The program offers comprehensive training in the management and operation of climate-controlled greenhouses. Participants can learn about advanced systems for climate control, smart irrigation, crop monitoring, and energy-saving solutions. The curriculum also addresses key challenges such as water scarcity, soil health, and biodiversity conservation.
The program provided participants with a valuable opportunity for direct hands-on training under the supervision of a select group of experts and specialists in modern agricultural technologies, strengthening their practical capabilities and empowering them to implement sustainable farming best practices.
This initiative is part of Estidamah's ongoing efforts to achieve its strategic objectives of promoting sustainable agricultural practices under Estidamah's knowledge transfer program, which seeks to improve agricultural production efficiency and enhance food security, in line with the objectives of the country's National Agriculture Strategy.
