The National Research and Development Center for Sustainable Agriculture (Estidamah) held a workshop with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). During this workshop, both parties explored opportunities for research collaboration and exchange of scientific expertise to developing innovative solutions that advance agricultural sustainability.
The workshop included a review of ongoing and future joint projects. The workshop underscored the importance of integrating research and scientific efforts to support sustainable agricultural practices. It also highlighted the need to leverage modern technologies to address pressing environmental challenges.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Dr. Khalid Al-Rohily, Director General of the National Center for Research and Development of Sustainable Agriculture (Estidamah) stated that the partnership with KAUST represents a significant step toward strengthening the research and development framework within the agricultural sector, and localizing advanced technologies that support sustainable food security.
