The National Research and Development Center for Sustainable Agriculture (Estidamah) received a joint scientific delegation from the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE) to discuss areas of cooperation in research and modern technologies related to energy use in the agricultural sector.
During the visit, the scientific delegation toured Estidamah's facilities to learn about the most important services, projects, and research initiatives led by Estidamah to enhance food security, in line with the Kingdom's agriculture and food security strategy.
The visit aimed to strengthen partnerships with the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology and the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy, and to highlight the efforts of the National Research and Development Center for Sustainable Agriculture to enhance the agricultural sector in the Kingdom.
In addition to testing new technologies that enhance sustainable agricultural methods in a number of areas, such as improving integrated water management, enhancing water use efficiency, and conserving natural resources.
