His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley, sponsored a joint cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture and the National Center for Sustainable Agriculture Research and Development, which aims to cooperate between the two parties in supporting, developing and advancing the research, innovation and entrepreneurship system in the agricultural sector, and contributing to maximizing the economic impact of the targeted sectors and working on and sustaining the growth of these sectors and achieving their leadership and creating an investment environment in them.
The agreement referred to joint cooperation in developing projects, initiatives and programs related to the field of research, innovation and agricultural start-ups, in addition to using and transferring technologies, programs and research. The two parties will also cooperate in contributing to the development of Sanabelah Program projects by providing specialized consultations and technical training in sustainable agriculture concepts and applications.
The agreement was signed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture for Research and Innovation, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Malik Al-Malik, and on behalf of the National Center for Sustainable Agriculture Research and Development, the Director General of the Sustainability Center, Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Saqer.
