The National Center for Sustainable Agriculture Research and Development (Estidamah) hosted 30 male and female students from the Mawhiba Community as part of a scientific visit aimed at introducing them to the center’s leading research projects, technologies, and innovations developed to support the sustainability of the agricultural sector and enhance the efficient use of natural resources.
During the visit, participants toured several research facilities and observed applied experiments conducted by the center. They also learned about Istidamah’s efforts in developing agricultural technologies, improving production efficiency, and creating innovative solutions to agricultural challenges, contributing to the achievement of Saudi Arabia’s food security and agricultural sustainability objectives.
The program included introductory presentations delivered by the center’s specialists, highlighting the role of research, development, and innovation in addressing agricultural challenges. The presentations also showcased scientific and research opportunities available to young people and individuals interested in agricultural sciences and modern technologies.
The center emphasized that the visit is part of its ongoing efforts to promote scientific knowledge, foster students’ interest in research and innovation, and inspire promising national talents to contribute to developing innovative solutions that support the future of sustainable agriculture in the Kingdom.
