The Board of Directors of the National Center for Sustainable Agriculture Research and Development (Estidamah) held its 8th meeting as part of the third cycle (first session), chaired by His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture and Chairman of the Board of Estidamah, Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Fadley, with the attendance of Board members. The meeting was convened to follow up on the Center’s ongoing activities and to discuss the latest developments in the implementation of its strategic objectives in the fields of sustainable agriculture and agricultural innovation.
During the meeting, the Board reviewed key previous directions and the progress made in their implementation, in addition to an overview of the latest research initiatives and projects undertaken by the Center. These projects include modern agricultural technologies and solutions that contribute to improving agricultural production efficiency, enhancing food security, and supporting the sustainability of natural resources.
The meeting also highlighted updates on the initiatives within the Center’s strategic plan, which include promoting the adoption of modern technologies and agricultural innovation, developing research and development initiatives, and enhancing institutional efficiency. These efforts are aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and support the Kingdom’s direction toward sustainable agricultural development.
