Dr. Hatim Dekhiel Al-Dekhiel obtained his bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from King Saud University in 1991, his M.Sc. in Thermal Mechanical Engineering from King Abdul Aziz University in 1998 and his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisville - USA - in 2004.
Dr. Al-Dekhiel brings more than 29 years of practical experience in technology, innovation, and petrochemical and agricultural nutrients engineering, in addition to his wide experience in leadership, general management, engineering projects, research as well as products and technologies development.
Dr. Al-Dekhiel holds several key positions, including Petrochemical Technology and Innovation Manager - SABIC. He also serves as a board member of Estidamah Research Center, Al-Jubail Fertilizer Co., and the Arabian Petrochemical Company (PETROKEMYA).
On the other hand, Dr. Al-Dekhiel was a board member of many bodies, including the National Industrial Gases, Saudi Methacrylates Company, and SABIC. He also was the director-general of SABIC Industrial Catalysts Company (Sabcat). As well, Dr. Al-Dekhiel leads several training programs offered by prestigious global training bodies for executives in various fields, including technology, management, finance, economy, and leadership.
