He held a number of administrative positions at the university and represented the university in the National Dialogue Workshop for Sustainable Food Systems in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as in a workshop for the Group of Twenty meeting entitled: Water, Energy and Food.
In addition to a number of international conferences, he also worked on a number of committees within the university and at the level of the Kingdom.
Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the International Conference on Food Security and Environmental Sustainability.
He is currently working as an associate professor at King Faisal University and has held the position of Dean of the College of Agricultural and Food Sciences since 2019
