The Ministry of
Environment, Water and Agriculture branch in Al-Qassim, in collaboration with
Estidamah Center, organized a workshop titled “Citrus Cultivation and
Production Techniques,” as part of efforts to transfer knowledge and promote
modern agricultural practices.
The workshop reviewed the latest technologies and scientific methods in citrus
cultivation and production, highlighting agricultural practices that improve
production quality and efficiency, supporting the sustainability and
productivity of the agricultural sector.
It also covered several technical topics, including modern irrigation methods,
crop care techniques, and agricultural operations management, in addition to
discussing key challenges facing citrus production and ways to address them
based on the latest research and applied practices.
This comes as part of Estidamah’s efforts to support the development of the
agricultural sector and empower farmers to adopt modern technologies, thereby
improving production efficiency and quality and enhancing agricultural
sustainability across the Kingdom.
