The National Center for Sustainable Agriculture Research and Development (Estidamah), through its Jazan Branch, organized a
workshop titled “Improved Varieties and Their Role in Enhancing Rainfed Agriculture Productivity” in collaboration with Reef Al
Ahliyah Foundation, as part of its ongoing efforts to support the agricultural sector and promote sustainable farming practices
The workshop highlighted the latest agricultural methods and technologies that contribute to improving the efficiency and
productivity of rainfed crops. It also addressed integrated pest management practices and approaches to enhancing irrigation
efficiency, supporting food security and agricultural sustainability objectives.
The workshop was attended by a number of farmers, agricultural practitioners, and specialists, providing an opportunity to exchange
knowledge and experiences on modern agricultural best practices. The discussions aimed to contribute to the development of
agricultural production and the advancement of the agricultural sector in the Jazan Region.
