The National Center for Sustainable Agriculture Research and Development (Estidamah) welcomed today a delegation from Saudi Telecom Channels, in celebration of World Nature Conservation Day, and as part of efforts to strengthen joint cooperation between the two entities in the fields of environmental sustainability and knowledge transfer.
During the visit, the Center organized a specialized workshop titled “Sustainable Agriculture," which addressed the importance of environmentally friendly agricultural practices, methods for conserving natural resources, and showcased global best practices in this field, in addition to promoting environmental awareness among participants.
The Director General of Estidamah, Dr. Khalid Al-Rahili, emphasized that this initiative comes as part of the Center's ongoing efforts to empower partnerships with the private sector and activate the role of institutions in supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 related to sustainable development and environmental protection. He highlighted the importance of collective efforts in achieving environmental sustainability and addressing contemporary environmental challenges.
For their part, the Saudi Telecom Channels delegation expressed their appreciation for the Center's qualitative initiatives in the fields of sustainability and the environment, stressing the importance of joint cooperation in knowledge transfer, the development of responsible environmental practices, and contributing to the achievement of sustainable development.
It is worth noting that Estidamah, through its various programs and initiatives, seeks to achieve its second strategic objective of promoting sustainable agricultural practices through knowledge transfer, by spreading a culture of environmental sustainability, supporting national efforts toward sustainable development, and preserving natural resources for future generations
