Abdulrahman Ahmed Shams al-Din, CEO of SABIC agri-nutrients, and before holding this position, he was
executive vice president of common services at SABIC.
Shamsuddin has worked in various operational and managerial positions in the fields of safety of work
procedures, efficiency of performance and reliability, engineering and project management, maintenance, and
operations in refineries and petrochemical plants. He also served as vice president of internal audit and general
Managed comprehensive risk management at SABIC, and oversaw risk management, internal controls, business
continuity management, and global insurance and credit management.
He was a member of the SABIC risk management executive committee, secretary of the risk and compliance committee
of the SABIC Board of Directors, a member of the finance leadership team, and a leader of many global projects
and initiatives.
He was responsible for the Internal Audit Department of the company, in front of the audit committee emanating
from the board of directors. At the beginning of his career, Shamsuddin worked at the Saudi Aramco - ExxonMobil
refinery (same), and during his service, he gained experience in international assignments in refineries and
chemical plants.
