Eng. Khalid Al-Dabbagh Visit to Estidama

 The Chairman of SABIC, Eng. Khalid Al-Dabbagh has visited Estidama, in order to access its programs and experiences in the field of the sustainable agriculture in the Kingdom.
He has been welcomed by Estidamah General Director, Mr. Khalid Al-Assaf and a number of Estidamah employees. Hence, through the visit, an introductory tour has been made to Estidamah sections, various activities and research fields in achieving Estidamah objectives. Moreover, he has accessed the strategy based on the production increase in an area unit, quality improvement of agriculture products, decease of using pesticide, efficiency improvement of using water and application and localization of modern protected agriculture technology.
Ultimately, Eng. Al-Dabbagh has thanked and appreciated Estidamah management and employees for their efforts exerted in fields of research, development and innovation and confirmed the importance of the business continuity and cooperation of SABIC in all areas that serve Estidamah objectives, mission and vision.
It is noted that Estidamah mainly aims at promoting the sustainable agriculture in the Kingdom; adopting the modern agricultural technologies to enhance the sustainability of the agricultural activities in the Kingdom; enabling the optimal use of natural resources, especially water, to contribute to achieving the food security; and preserving these resources for future generations.
Estidamah seeks to strengthen its position and leadership in the field of modern agricultural technologies; apply the researches providing modern solutions and technologies for public and private agricultural institutions; and reach the practical applicable solutions, through the researches, to develop, improve, and apply the agricultural technologies in the Kingdom.
