Estidamah holds a workshop entitled “Enhancement of the Grain Crops Production in the Kingdom to achieve Food Security”

The National Research and Development Center for Sustainable Agriculture (Estidamah) holds a workshop entitled “Enhancement of the Grain Crops Production in the Kingdom to achieve Food Security” among the workshops series held by Estidamah to share experiences and information between experts and scientists in the national universities and institutions and experts from the international institutions.

The grains production is of a great importance in achieving food security and obtaining multiple other products. The Kingdom 2030 Vision pays a great attention to food security, and the National Strategy for Agriculture stressed the importance of the thoughtful expansion in producing strategic crops, taking into consideration the conserve of water resources.

This workshop aims to sharing experiences and knowledge in this critical field and benefiting from the results of scientific research to enhance the production of grain crops in the Kingdom in a manner contributing to enhancing the national food security.
